AETMA Lab had a presence in the 7th Nationwide Industrial Informatics Festival (i2fest2016) at the “Apostle Mardyris” Exhibition Centre of Kavala, from Friday 7 to Saturday 15 of October 2016.
i2fest is a festival of new technologies that aims to demonstrate the potential of the information industry and its significant effects of the social, economic and cultural life.
Students of the Educational Technologies undergraduate unit, which is taught by members of the AETMA Lab, were encouraged to participate and selected projects were presented. These projects were Augmented Reality educational applications using the Aurasma and ARLearn platforms. The projects presented were:
- The archaeological site of Philippi with Aurasma
- History lesson using Aurasma
- DysMath – an application for children with dyscalculia
- Trip in the city of Kavala
